Hi, I'm gonna demonstrate a do-it-yourself wedding cake.

Now we're going to decorate the cake with

the leaves and the flowers, so this is the fun part.

But before you start I want you to practice a little bit

on a paper towel, make sure your frosting is the right

consistency and coming out the way that you want.

Everything looks good.

So again always working in front of yourself,

just make some nice leaves here.

So when we're ready to put the roses on the cake,

we're just gonna start at the top and work our way down

so we don't reach across anything.

When you're making a rose, make the C,

stop, wipe the tip,

go back, make your petal, wipe your tip again,

and make the other petal, wipe the tip again.

So you're wiping your tip between each movement.

Otherwise you'll drag a little of the green

from the leaf into the flower.

Be sure you're holding the wider part

of the rose tip down.

Then wipe the tip, come around and do one petal,

and come around and do a second petal.

It's really simple and it's not fussy

and they look really pretty

without being too difficult.
