How to Make a Heart Dessert Pattern

Making your desserts extra special takes minimal effort,
so why not?
To create a heart pattern for a dessert
begin by drawing a circle of chocolate sauce on the plate.
Squeeze bottles are an inexpensive tool
often used by restaurants to decorate plates with sauces
and you can fill them with any type of sauce you'd like.
Squeeze creme anglaise from another bottle
filling the chocolate circle completely.
Creme anglaise is a vanilla custard sauce.
Squeeze two dots of chocolate sauce
close to one another onto the creme anglaise.
Always squeeze them as pairs.
Drag a skewer through the chocolate dots
and into the creme anglaise
creating the effect of little chocolate hearts
as you go.
Let's add our piece of cake and voila.
How about that for a little pizazz?
