Broiled Shrimp Scampi

1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails left on, patted dry
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
Coarse salt and ground pepper
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Lemon wedges, for serving
Preparation
Step 1
Heat broiler, with rack 4 inches from heat. Place shrimp on a large rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with garlic; season generously with salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Arrange shrimp in a single layer.
Step 2
Broil until shrimp are opaque throughout, 3 to 4 minutes. Sprinkle with lemon juice and parsley; toss to combine. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
