It's a very messy sandwich.

Oh gosh.

(light music)

I think this is maybe like a jelly.

I think this is peanut butter.

It's soupy peanut butter.

Not bad.

Not bad at all.

(light music)

[Adult] So what you're going to do

is you're going to put the cheese and the meat

on the bread, and then you're going to dip the sandwich

into it, take a bite.

That's not that bad.

I put too much.

I don't know if it'll taste good.

I think I failed.

Mm, good.

(light music)

Pretty good.

1920?

Yeah, I haven't seen fried shrimp

in a sandwich before.

(light music)

First of all, I'm digging the spread.

This is a masterpiece.

The onions, they're sorta sweet.

There's caramel on them?

This is a lot of work.

This is why I let my mom do all the cooking.

I don't really want to put that in my sandwich.

It looks like mushed up sausage

with stuff stuffed in it and bacon around it.

For the record, I'm not the best sandwich maker.

I'd rather live in America.

(upbeat music)

What's this?

Oh, what's pastrami?

I don't like pickles.

So now I do this?

It's actually good.

What's this again?

(upbeat music)

Chicken, pickles, butter, and bread.

Easy.

The meat tastes like chicken.

This is really good.

I regret not putting the pickles in the sandwich.

[Adult] Do you know when this was invented?

2000?

Around the 1970s or 60s?

[Adult] 1960.

(light music)

It's some sort of meat thing.

Is that hamburger?

Oh.

Ranch dressing.

Cool.

It's good.

It doesn't hold together very well.

It drips all the way down to the bottom.

(light music)

Is there anymore cheese?

'cause I love cheese.

I'm no expert, but maybe it's ready.

I'm not the patient kind of person.

That's good.

(light music)

I love bacon.

Tortilla.

Honey mustard.

Fold it like this.

Mmmmm.

There's this song rap.

(light music)

So I'm guessing that this is the bread.

It's definitely a big sandwich.

It's hard to bite into

'cause it's so thick.

You know what.

I liked it.

Yes.

Yes, but, why?

Okay, 1900s or 1800s.

2000s.

They use noodles as bread?

Whoa, whoa.
