This drink is perfect for breakfast celebrations. It's light and fresh with the tang of citrus.

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces Bacardi Limon
1 ounce pink grapefruit juice
1 ounce orange juice
Dash of grenadine
1 Maraschino cherry, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Shake all the ingredients (except the cherry) together in a shaker filled with ice. Strain into a martini glass, drop in the cherry, and enjoy!

  2. Summer Breeze sans spirit

    Step 2

    For those of you out there who don't imbibe, here's a nice variation on the Summer Breeze that won't leave you three sheets to the wind.

    3 ounces pink grapefruit juice

    Step 4

    5 ounces lemon-lime soda

    Step 5

    1 orange wheel, for garnish

    Step 6

    1 Maraschino cherry, for garnish

    Step 7

    Pour the grapefruit juice into a tumbler or highball glass filled with ice cubes and top it off with lemon-lime soda. With a wooden skewer, pierce the orange wheel through both sides of the rind and add the cherry. Add to the drink and serve.
