Horseradish Burger—A Burger with a Kick.
You can add a tremendous variety of spices to the raw ground beef and have the result come out very well. For “onion and tomato buns,” an alternative to high-glycemic hamburger buns, dip onion and tomato slices in egg white and coat with grated Parmesan cheese. Brown in oil over high heat until crisped and lightly browned, about 1 minute a side. Sprinkle with pepper and seasoned salt. Serve each burger between an onion slice and a tomato slice.

Preparation
In a medium bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, horseradish, mustard, tomato sauce, and salt. Mix well and form into 4 patties. Place in a large nonstick skillet and cook over medium heat to desired doneness, 3 to 4 minutes a side for medium-rare, 6 minutes if you prefer your burgers well-done (but dry!).
