Ingredients

1 lime
2 cups white tequila
2 to 3 jalapeños, halved lengthwise seeded
6 cups (1 1/2 quarts) tonic water

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Using peeler, remove peel from lime (green part only) in strips. Combine peel, tequila and jalapeños in glass jar with tight-fitting lid. Chill overnight.

    Step 2

    Fill 8 tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour 3 tablespoons tequila and 3/4 cup tonic water into each.
