1 quart apple cider
Peel of 2 clementines, cut into strips
1 cinnamon stick
6 whole cloves
8 ounces rum (optional)

Preparation

  1. Bring cider, peels, cinnamon stick and cloves to a boil in a large saucepan. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Keep warm until serving time. Strain into mugs; add rum, if desired.
