Ingredients

2 quarts Scotch whisky
1 quart ginger wine
3 tablespoons honey
Juice of 4 oranges
Peel of two oranges, cut into spirals and studded with cloves

Preparation

  1. In a large saucepan put the Scotch whisky, ginger wine, the honey, the orange juice, and the orange peel. Heat the mixture but do not let it boil. Serve the punch in 4-ounce mugs and garnish each serving with a strip of the clove-studded peel.
