Berries & Cream Crostini

Perfect for a snack, an appetizer or even a better for you dessert!

1 french baguette, sliced in 3/4 inch slices
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 (7 oz) package Arla Original Cream Cheese Spread
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups diced fresh mixed berries
honey, for topping

Preparation

    Step 1

    Heat broiler on oven. Arrange baguette slices on two large baking sheets inan even layer. Brush both sides with butter.

    Step 2

    Place an oven rack about 4 inches away from the broiler.

    Step 3

    Toast baguette slices until golden brown, about 2 minutes, depending on your oven. Flip crostini and toast the other side as well.

    Step 4

    Let cool on baking sheets.

    Step 5

    In a medium bowl, whip Arla Original Cream Cheese Spread, powdered sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract until smooth.

    Step 6

    Generously spread cream cheese mixture on top of crostinis. Top with berries and drizzle with honey. Serve immediately.
