Ingredients

1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 ripe banana, mashed (about 1/2 cup)
1/2 cup canned crushed pineapple in juice, drained, reserving 2 tablespoons of the juice
1 cup whole milk

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl combine well the evaporated milk, the lemon juice, the sugar, the cream, the banana, the pineapple with the reserved juice, and the whole milk. Freeze the mixture in an ice-cream freezer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
