Hi, I'm Tomas Delos Reyes.
I'm at the Museum of Sex in New York City,
and today, I'm gonna show you how to create
one of their flirty drinks,
the Azteca,
using ingredients known to inspire romance.
Today, I'm making it without alcohol,
but if you really want to spice things up,
add a couple ounces of your favorite spirit,
and serve it on the rocks.
The Azteca features our vanilla elixir,
sweetened cocoa powder,
the chile elixir,
and a coconut, sea salt rim.
The coconut sea salt rim is simply made
with dried coconut and sea salt,
so it's really easy to make.
Vanilla has a warm and intoxicating aroma,
and the chocolate and chiles have been
considered aphrodisiacs forever.

So to make our Azteca,
we're going to start off by rimming our glass
and dipping it in a little bit of lime juice,
and dipping that in our coconut sea salt rim.
Now in the shaker,
we're gonna take one ounce of our vanilla elixir,
one tablespoon of our sweetened cocoa powder,
one ounce of the chile elixir.
You can also add a little bit more if you like it spicier.
Then one ounce of our simple syrup.
We're going to dry shake this.
(soft upbeat music)
Next, we're gonna add ice to our glass.
And strain.
And to finish it off,
we're going to top is off with soda water.
And I'm going to give it a little stir.
There you have it.
The Azteca.
Happy Valentine's Day from that epicurious dot com.
