Snow Peas with Grand Marnier

Ingredients

1 cup water
1 teaspoon sugar
Three 10-ounce packages frozen snow peas
One 8-ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/4 cup Grand Marnier
5 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint) or 1 1/2 tablespoons dried mint
1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and add the sugar. Drop in the snow peas and cook until barely tender, drain, and return to pan. Add the water chestnuts, Grand Marnier, butter, mint, and salt. Cook over medium-low heat until heated through.
