This thick, savory sauce is inspired by Papa John's breadstick-dipping sauce. But this one is made with real butter, so it tastes even more delicious.

Ingredients

1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cubed
2 teaspoons garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Preparation

  1. Bring 1 Tbsp. water to a boil in a small saucepan, then reduce to a simmer. Add cubes of butter one at a time, whisking after each addition, until melted and emulsified. Whisk in salt and garlic powder. Serve immediately or keep warm over low heat.
