Ingredients
1 small onion, grated
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup prepared yellow mustard
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
1 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
Preparation
COOK the onion in the oil in a small saucepan over medium heat until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Simmer until thickened and smooth.
