Small piece of cinnamon stick
Thin slice of lemon or lime
Dash of nutmeg
Optional garnish: lemon or lime slice

Preparation

  1. For each drink combine the whiskey in a mug or goblet with the sugar syrup, whole cloves, cinnamon stick, and the thin slice of lemon or lime. Fill the mug to the top with boiling water and sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg. Garnish with lemon or lime slice, if desired.
