Golden Raisin and Almond Chicken

Recipe information

  • Yield

    4 servings

Ingredients

Swap

Golden raisins for the cherries

Add

4 ounces sliced or slivered almonds (available on the baking aisle)
1 additional tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

Preparation

  1. Step 1

Prepare just as for the master recipe, #284, adding the raisins when you would have added the cherries. Toast the nuts in a small skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon butter to the toasted nuts; melt and toss to coat. Add the chives and toss to combine.

    Step 2

Top the whole or sliced chicken breasts with the raisin sauce and the buttered, toasted almonds, then serve with salad and potatoes or bread.
