3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
2 teaspoons turmeric or 2 pinches saffron threads
Preparation
Bring 3 cups water to a boil; add vinegar and turmeric or saffron. Let steep for 10 minutes. Add eggs and let steep in solution for at least 30 minutes and up to 3 hours.
