Girls’ Night Martini

Gina: When I’m hanging with my girlfriends and we want something strong and sweet, this smooth, sexy cocktail, flavored with chocolate, coffee, and banana, does the trick. A splash of espresso gives us the fuel to stay awake for another round.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons turbinado sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
4 tablespoons prepared espresso, cooled
1 1/2 ounces best vodka, chilled
1/2 ounce crème de cacao
1/2 ounce banana schnapps
Chocolate swizzle sticks, for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Moisten the rim of a chilled, oversized martini glass with water. Pour the sugar and cocoa into a saucer, and mix well. Dip the rim of the glass in the mixture, and roll to coat the rim thoroughly.

    Step 2

    Combine the espresso, vodka, crème de cacao, and banana schnapps in a cocktail shaker, add a handful of ice, and shake until frothy. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a chocolate swizzle stick, if desired, and look out.
