Chili

Too spicy
Add more of something—beans, meat, and/or tomatoes. Add chunks of bell pepper. Even zucchini and cauliflower can taste good in chili. Just don’t tell the Texas Chili League we said so. Another unconventional option is to add a can of refried beans. Or a dollop of honey. If you don’t want to add something, you can try to unspice your chili. Peel and chunk several large potatoes. Mix into your chili and leave for an hour or so. Remove. Finally, you can dollop some sour cream or plain yogurt on top—that tends to cool the spiciness.
