The classic rum drink of the fifties. To make a Dark and Stormy, use dark rum and ginger beer.

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces good-quality rum
1/2 cup Coca-Cola, or to taste
Zest and juice of 1/2 lime
1 slice lime for garnish

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour over them the rum, Coke, and lime juice; stir in the zest.

    Step 2

    Garnish with the slice of lime.
